Youth Pastors Speak Out
The beauty of the RIOT tour is that Scott can visit these churches and share the Gospel and disciple making training. In this post, you’ll hear from five Youth Pastors that have invited Scott into their lives and ministries.
Colby Taylor | The Summit Church
I connected with Colby through RUSH Kids Camp and by attending the REFUEL Conference in Lynchburg, Virginia. From the very beginning, I could see his heart for students and he invited me to spend a Sunday with him and his ministries.
We had a great time with his 5–6 graders, went bowling with his middle school students, and finished the day with a neon gym event. Following, I was able to share from God’s word with the entire group. God is doing incredible things at Summit!
Jordan Butler | Connections Church
GAMETIME Conference is an annual event that Jordan partners with John Murphy to connect local church youth ministries together and helps their students grow in their walk with Christ, their youth group, and other churches.
Jordan continues to be a light for other youth pastors and leaders by taking this event to other locations. I have been so encouraged to partner with him to do ministry that makes disciples.

Tony Vilafane | Gateway Church
I first met Tony as young adult intern for our annual summer camp who led the prayer meeting before each service. He was already being used by God, as my students all wanted to show up because of Tony.
I was honored to help speak at his youth group in Parkesburg, PA. What a dream come true, to serve alongside a young man who means so much to me. I’ll certainly make that trip any day!

John Murphy | Living Hope
I love what God is doing through “Murph” in Langhorne, PA. Living Hope is a strong church that not only reaches its community, but has a wonderful relationship with Cairn University, just minutes from its campus.
Murph has graciously invited me into his life, sharing the highs and lows of ministry. He has partnered with Jordan Butler to bring the GAMETIME weekend youth conference to the Philadelphia area churches.
